Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. is preparing 100 officers to examine sacrificial animal health ahead of the upcoming Idul Adha this year.

Secretary for Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept., Elly said, the officers are prepared to examine sacrificial animal health that will be sold to people. Thus the buyer can get a healthy sacrificial animal and meet the requirements.

"We will also check the saliva and blood of animals by sampling. Blood will be checked in the laboratory," she explained.
Technically, animals like goats and sheep should be over one year old marked by the growth of a pair of permanent teeth.
